The Best Inside and Out
Extra Strong Steel Frame System
Built to last, all Alpha chairs are constructed with a strong steel frame system. Using steel for our chairs foundation ensures it will hold up to whatever gets thrown it's way. Produced with only the highest quality steel, each chair frame is hand welded and spot checked by quality control. Noname brands are made with cheap plywood cores that don't hold their form over time. Ensure your chair will look like new for years with our strong tubular steel system.
High Quality Cold Cure Molded Foam
Alpha Chairs are made from the highest quality cold cured molded foam, ensuring your chairs stays supportive for years to come. Many of our less expensive competitors gaming chairs offer multi colored recycled foam on the inside of their chairs. Unfortunately this lower quality foam breaks down quickly and will leave you with very little padding within a year of use. Our high density cold cured molded foam is similar to what you find on the high quality mattresses being sold today. If you are gaming for long hours, this is the only type of padding you want for your chair.
High Profile Reinforced Nylon Base
The Alpha Series M (medium) comes standard with our sleek, high profile reinforced nylon base. This isn't your average nylon base, it's heavy duty and built like a tank. The second you take it out of the box you'll notice it has good weight to it and is built to hold up to long hours at the computer or console.
Industry Standard Class 4 Gas Cylinder
Every LEVL Gaming chair produced uses an industry standard class 4 gas cylinder. The class 4 system is the highest class available, designed specifically for heavy usage. Many of the noname brands cut costs by using class 2 gas cylinders with their chairs. The gas cylinder takes the most abuse on your chair and if you want the chair to last then you need to make sure it's class 4.
Oversized Lumbar and Neck Pillows
To create a true ergonomic experience, all Alpha series chairs come standard with oversized lumbar and neck support pillows. Whether your in the middle of an eight hour gaming session, or dreaming in max recline, our pillows ensure your comfortable. Each lumbar support system utilizes our cold cure molded foam for added support. The overstuffed neck/head pillow used a high quality synthetic padding which allows you to sink in, while still providing just the right amount of support.
Alpha Chair Adjustments
Standard Swivel Tilt Mechanism
The Alpha Series comes with a standard swivel tilt mechanism. To release the tilt, simply reach underneath the right side of your seat pan and pull out on the paddle. You are able to rock back and forth freely in the chair. To lock your chair in the upright position again, bring your chair up and push the paddle back in. This tilt function can be used with the back angle adjustment to bring you back into an ultra deep recline.
Height Adjustment Control
To lower your chair, simply reach under the right hand side of your seat pan and lift the paddle. This should allow your chair to drop to the lowest position, to stop release the paddle. To raise your chair slightly lift your body weight from the chair and pull the paddle upward. The chair should rise to the highest position unless the paddle is released.
Height Adjustable Armrests
Moving your armrests to the proper position can make or break your gaming experience. Our armrests have six positions to choose from and with 3" of total adjustment range. To raise your armrests, grasp the level on the outside of your arm, just below the arm pad. While pulling up on the lever, raise or lower your armrests to a desired height.
360 Degree Rotating Arm Pads
A comfortable gaming position doesn't stop at your armrests set to the proper height. Our armrests come standard with a full 360 degrees of rotation allowing you to move them in toward you to provide constant support from any position.
Back Angle Adjustment
One of the most popular functions on our gaming chairs, the back angle adjustment function. To recline the backrest, simply pull the handle on the right side of your seat pad and lean back. When you have found a desirable angle, release the the handle. To bring the backrest upright, lift your body weight forward and pull the handle again. The backrest should bring itself back to the up position on its own.

Best for the price, almost (not quite) perfect
Posted by Mike on Aug 3rd 2018
I like a lot of the things about this chair. It's a little tough to put together, and the two pillows on the back get a little uncomfortable if you use them for a long time. It also sticks a bit when you try to tilt the back of it, and winds up making a loud noise a lot of the time when it snaps into a position that makes me worry I'm going to break the chair. Given the price, that's not great.
Still, it's got a lot of padding, and is plenty supportive for me, a 5'11*, 170-pound man with a history of back problems. I could easily fall asleep in this chair with the back all the way down. I would certainly recommend it over most chairs, for sure. I don't think you'll find one much better for $300.
It's also worth mentioning that the chair I first received had a flaw with the seat, but I was able to very quickly get in touch with customer service and get a replacement part. So big, big thanks to them for that. If you have any problems, they'll do everything they can to solve them, and that's pretty great.
LEVL GAMING ADMIN RESPONSE (8/5/18):
When using the backrest recline function, we recommend leaning forward slightly to engage the lever. With your full body weight against the backrest, the mechanism will struggle to unlock smoothly. This change will eliminate the popping sound you are experiencing.
Best chair ever

My butt has NEVER been so happy. This chair has all the padding I could want in the rump section! This will make the 12th computer chair I've purchased to try and find that "Perfect" seat and this one hit the nail on the head. Great product!
Great chair; needs a few design tweaks.

First, I'm 6' 240lb. I was a muscular athlete at 200, with 40 lbs of extra butt and stomach fat now but I'm still average sized.
Second, the height and overall feel and make is strong and well made. The biggest problem, as mentioned in another review, is the wings or sides of the seat being too cramped. It does break in somewhat, and your body does get used to it- but it could still be wider. I'd imagine the smaller fixed width has to do with the larger one being way more expensive for manufacturing and these are cheaper and more readily available.
Lastly, the plastic cover on the level side NEVER will stay on. It falls off constantly, even when trying to cleverly duck tape the inside portion to disguise the fix. It still falls off. This is just simply a bad design; a flaw. Anyone who spent 5 minutes trying to put together more than one chair would find this out. It just doesn't work and there are at least ten other ideas I could think of to hide those bolts and cover things nicely.
Does this take away from buying the chair? No. Until I find another one that's this big and well made for under $400 I don't think so. The rest of the chair is an absolutely clutch product and makes gaming for a long time comfortable and easy.

I had been using an off brand gaming chair for about 4 years. When it finally broke, I decided to spend a little money and buy a nice gaming chair. After doing some research and comparisons, I decided to go with the Levl Alpha M, and I can't be happier.
It started with amazing shipping speed, I went with standard shipping and still received the chair within 3 days. The assembly of this chair was quick and easy. Compared to what I had been using for the last 4 years, which I thought was comfortable, this chair is amazing. Its like I upgraded from a Honda to an Audi. I have already recommended this chair to a handful of my friends.
There are 3 things that are a little annoying. First, when you recline the chair the sound it makes is like a car accident. Second, the plastic pieces that cover the side bolts like to pop off, not sure why being that you hear them click in when you put them on. Lastly, I personally tend to lean my head forward while playing games, so I wish the head rest was a little bigger.
Overall, I am extremely happy with my decision to purchase this chair. It is money well spent.
Solid and Good Looking Chair
Posted by Brian on Oct 30th 2017
Firstly, I work, watch shows, and play computer games in this chair. I've had it for several weeks now. That said...
-Chair feels solid enough to survive a nuclear explosion. Very solid steel build quality. The material, only time will tell. I'll come back in a year to update.
-Looks very cool. I got the red and black on.
-Added neck pillow and lumbar support (both adjustable) are great features.
-Wheels are QUIET!!! on hardwood floors. My old chair was so loud. This one you can hardly hear. LOVE that feature. My wife used to complain about my other chair making a ton of noise (I sit upstairs.). Not anymore.
-Pretty comfortable. It's not sofa soft but it's comfortable and supportive. Just about right.
-I don't like the seat doesn't slide forward. Maybe there's a reason for it. But at the recline I sit at, it puts a little pressure on my hamstrings.
-When you adjust said recline, if you're leaning back at all, the switch release sounds like metal hitting metal at 30mph.
-I didn't like that the chair squeaked badly on the left side. However, they told me where to spray some WD-40 and I haven't heard a sound since. It's a con because I think they should pre-oil/grease it.
-Several serious delays in getting back to me.
All together, the pros outweigh the cons for a four star review (which is near perfect for me). Address the lack of seat movement and five stars.
5 Star Chair and Service
Posted by Joshua Crisp on Oct 26th 2017
I own 4 gaming chairs, 2 DXRacers -OH/RV001/N and OH/RZ183/NO/METHOD, a Vertagear PL6000, and Levl Gaming Alpha Series M.
This Alpha Series M has the same comfort and build quality of my more expensive DXRacer Racing series chairs (Closer to $380 USD). Well built and sturdy frame, (it just feels like a quality chair from the moment you sit in it) dense and firm, yet comfortable padding, and very nice full PU leather cover. If you've only had regular office/computer chairs your whole life, you owe it to yourself to try a full on gaming chair, the differences are unbelievable.
The lumber support pillow included is FAR superior to DX Racers, for the simple reason of the plastic "clips" that hold the 2 ends of the strap together. While DX racer provides an adjustable strap, its basically a "pass through-cinch" style (think adjustable strap on a gym bag) The Level Gaming chair instead has snap in clips (think the black plastic things that kept the top of your bookbag snapped close / pinch the middle and pull to release) This allows the lumber support to be far easier to add/ remove and adjust. It keeps the support in place better when you do find your "sweetspot", and doesnt leave 3ft of extra strap hanging behind your chair like the DXRacers.
Levl also uses larger casters on these chairs. 2.5 inch instead of DX racers 2 inch size. This makes for smoother rolling, and probably increased lifespan (bigger is better right?)
Shipping speed was great, ordered on a thursday, had it by monday.
60 day trial period instead of the standard 30 day, is great, although after 2 weeks im already certain I wont be sending it back.
Lastly, customer service is a huge plus for Levl. During assembly, I broke one of the plastic hinge covers (i got a little overzealous trying to get it off quickly to retighten some bolts i had left loose) totally my fault, but I called Levl to order a new one, got a real live person after like 2 rings, who sent me a new piece free of charge, no questions asked, and it arrived in 3 days.
If you're thinking about buying this chair, do yourself a favor and do it. This particular chair I use at work (i sit regularly in front of my pc for 8-9 hours a day) and the difference from my old standard office/conference chair is immeasurable.
For what it's worth I am 5'7 about 155 lbs, and I can sit in this chair with my feet firmly planted on the floor just above the lowest setting, or can raise it all the way up and have 3 -4 inches or so of air between my soles and the ground.
I am posting this on all 3 M series colors (since it looks like reviews are separated by which color you are reviewing) because I dont want to deny sharing my positive experience with anyone else just because they didnt pick blue/black (even though it is the best combo)
Okay but bad plastic side covers
Posted by Unknown on Oct 6th 2017
The left side plastic cover wont stick to the two screws on the side and keeps falling out. Levl sending me a replacement plastic cover for that side. After finished assembling it, I realized the right side plastic cover, including the one that covers the gears, pops off when I recline all the way back. Kind of annoying and it doesn't look good cosmetically without the plastic covers. They should have screws to mount these covers and just have plastic nubs to cover the screw holes like most chairs do.
Best gaming chair

So comfortable... Didn't think I'd like the lumbar support and head rest pillows, but they're actually really nice once you get used to them. My back doesn't get sore at all after sitting in it for extended periods of time (and I'm really tall, so back pain from sitting in shitty chairs is something I deal with all the time).
High Quality - Offset Discomfort
Posted by Chase on Sep 16th 2017
Upon unpackaging the chair I was immediately impressed with how high quality and solid the materials appeared (other than some of the thin flimsy plastic cosmetic covers on a few areas). I was really hoping to find something I could immediately sit in and fall in love. I don't feel like this happened for me unfortunately. While the chair is extremely comfortable for certain problem areas I had before (mainly my rear end), the chair leaves something to be desired in the overall comfort department. Keep in mine I am a 6'1 adult male and weight approximately 240 lbs. I'm not a huge person but I'm also not petite. EVERYTHING about this chair is comfortable for me which I am very grateful for EXCEPT the wings on the side of the seat. It imposes upon my sitting position and really cramps me into the chair and I feel rather confined by them. After prolonged use, I get up and the outer backside of my thighs hurt quite a bit and it doesn't go away very quickly either. I really went into this hoping so much that this chair would be a dream... and it almost was for me. I just wish the chair came with a wider seat arrangement where perhaps the width of the base cushion was just a little bit wider to accommodate my somewhat bulky thighs. I am still debating whether or not I will return this chair as I am still giving it a fair run to see if perhaps the materials "break in" a little to allow extended use to be more comfortable. I really like the look and design of the chair overall but comfort is the highest priority for me. If you're a larger sized person similar or larger to myself, I would recommend you very much consider the seat width/wings of this chair when debating on a purchase. It isn't yet something I have determined to be a deal breaker, but it definitely has me doubting.
Excellent chair and purchasing experience
Posted by Aaron on Sep 4th 2017
I had been shopping for quite a while before making this purchase. I had always been hesitant to make a purchase from other retailers for a chair, as it's hard to virtually purchase something designed for your own comfort without even able to try it. Levl's generous no-hassle (and no cost to return) trial period is what sold me, I figured I didn't have anything to lose if I didn't like it. The chair also shipped quicker than I imagined. The packaging the chair arrived in exceeded my expectations for quality. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were fine. Overall I am happy with the chair and the quality, and the excellent price.

It is very comfortable and I like how you can recline so far back in it. The pillows are really comfortable and the quality of the whole chair is perfect
Assembly was rough
Posted by Unknown on Aug 8th 2017
Not only was it difficult to put together but the plastic covers did not fit. Had the potential to be everything I imagined it to be, if only the pieces fit together properly.
Best Gaming Chair
Posted by Matthew on Aug 8th 2017
This is definitely the best chair I have ever owned. The order was processed and shipped right away. It's fairly easy to assemble, very comfortable and feels really sturdy. The adjustable armrests and the ability to recline are also nice. Overall, I'm really pleased with the chair and would recommend it to everyone looking.

Quality meets comfort

High quality chair oozing with comfort!
Armrests are adjustable height and comfortable to keep my arms on.
The chair is soft and wide enough for me at 6' and 250 pounds. It hugs just perfectly.
The neck and lumbar pillows are supportive, but totally optional, giving you endless levels of comfort!
I can play in this for hours at a time or just watch TV in it. It works for regular 2D flat gaming as well as VR gaming (for titles that support sitting to play).
I would definitely recommend this chair.
